Interests

I'm an easy going kind of person that views the world with an interesting point of view. I love people, the things they keep themselves busy with and the way they react to certain moments in their lives. People are my passion and children my calling.

Music, Movies, and Books

U2, Damien Rice, Florence and the Machines, One Republic, ...Actually I just love music. If the tune and the words move my soul I will listen to it.
I haven't watched a movie in so long but I like historical stuff like Brave Heart, Gladiator and in general, movies that make me think!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From my stay in Taiwan....

The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was amazing. The architecture and history around the place was fascinating. Toroko Gorge was also something to behold.

The annual Lantern Festival in Pinxi was something that really took my breath away. Watching thousands of flaming lanterns making their way through the night sky was truly an experience I will never forget.

I recently had the privilege of exploring a small part of Thailand. The Island of Koh Tao...enough said!

The Iguacu Waterfalls and the Amazon in Brazil.

Machu Picchu in Peru!!

And then of course being from South Africa and all.... There is nothing that beats an African sunset. Pure joy!

Teach, Learn, Share

The South African culture is a rich one indeed. I have my experience and cultural ideas to share. I've already learned so much about how the Taiwanese react and think about different situations. It has enriched my life. I'm looking forward to experiencing the same from other cultures all over the world.
