About Me

I'm a singer and songwriter. I'm Italian but I've been living in London for the last 4 yours. I love cooking, reading and most of all listening and making music. I'm into yoga, growing vegetables and taking care of houseplants. I absolutely love food but I'm an atypical Italian: I don't eat meat, I prefer brown rice to pasta and I avoid dairy products (I can make a delicious vegan lasagna!).
Since paying the rent working as performer and songwriter can be quite challenging, I work as nanny while improving my writing and finding my real voice. I'm also a qualified singing technique teacher but I haven't seen my students in a long time because of covid.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'd love to offer my skills and passions in exchange for accommodation while travelling. I'm curious, I love to listen people's personal stories and get in touch with their habits and their personal view. I believe that there is so much in the realm of the untouchable that can reward much more than money.

Music, Movies, and Books

In this moment I'm obsessed with Bent Knees and I have been brainwashed by my partner so that I love Coheed and Cambria :D I'm open to every genre as long as the music tells me something.
A novel that I love is "Norwegian Wood" by Haruki Murakami. At the moment I'm reading "12 Rules for Life" by Jordan Peterson and I like it quite a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every time I'm on a stage I feel the luckiest person ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach singing technique, music theory, Italian and English. I'd love to learn French. I'm a good creative cook and I'd like to get more into oriental cuisine, mastering spices that are not used much in Italy. I'd love to know more about growing vegetables organically. I can sew and I can use a sewing machine, I used to sell bags in my early 20. I'd love to lear to sew clothes. I like knitting as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer to my hosts music performances, good food childcare, stories about growing up in Rome and having a second life in London. I spent the last year renovating my partner's flat, where I live too, so I'd say that I have DIY skills and I'm good decorator. I repainted at ours furniture, plant pots, walls... I love it :D
