About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet great people in new places!
ABOUT ME
I'm 31 years old and have begun to travel a lot over the last few years. I'm always looking to meet new people and see new places.
I'm pretty laid back and enjoy spending time with others who are laid back. A good sense of humor and an open mind are musts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've now hosted a bunch of people from the United States and around the world and every experience (save one) has been fantastic.
When traveling to other places I have found that staying with locals (as opposed to youth hostels, hotels etc) provides for a much better and more fun experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I´ve been a host nearly 20 times and have surfed in Canada, the States and Spain.
Interests
I love playing baseball (I play in a vintage, 1864 base ball league), am a huge history buff that has collected old military items and other antiques since the age of 12 and enjoy doing anything outdoors.
I also enjoy reading, watching old movies and being sarcastic. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy having a few drinks and hanging out as opposed to hitting the clubs.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Movies: I love classic movies, especially anything starring Myrna Loy. Some of my favorite flicks include: Casablanca, Glory, Scent of a Woman, A League of Their Own, Streetcar Named Desire, M, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Field of Dreams, The Thin Man, The Sandlot and Spaceballs.
Music: Sinatra, U2, 50's & 60's, 80's cheese
Books: I'm a big history nerd so I usually read non-fiction but have been reading more fiction lately. Some of my favorite history books include: With the Old Breed,The Man Without a Country and Unbroken. I also enjoy classics such as Romeo & Juliet, The Time Machine, Johnny Got His Gun and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. My favorite baseball book is The Glory of Their Times.
