ABOUT ME

I am a Dutch student who has found her place in Istanbul! I like to read, wander around the city, meet with friends, and drink lots and lots of tea!

Loving animals, especially the street cats, and trying to live a vegetarian life in Istanbul! Oh, and I also know some Turkish. :)

I think 'exploring' is the key word here, I like to undertake new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host people in my apartment in Istanbul, or show people around the city. I live with 2 other CouchSurfers, so there should always be someone around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's not really couchsurfing, but I met a friend on the web 4 years ago who showed me around his city in Turkey, and I don't think I've got a better friend than him!

I have also had a great experience in Sofia, where a friend took me to lots of beautiful places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since I got bored from going to Turkey by plane all the time, I decided to go by train. It took about 52 hours, but it was amazing! So many fascinating people, so many unexpected situations (positive and negative..), but really something worth doing!
