Overview
About Me
Undergraduate student in the ESPM department in Berkeley, California... Usually like to find time for traveling during the summer months since I have the ability to work remote during these months specifically.
Gaining fluent proficiency in some languages besides English has been on my list of tasks for the last couple of years, I grew up speaking Canadian French and would like to regain some sort of french fluency among other languages.
Constantly trying to learn something new, self-taught on trading crypto-currencies as a result of being part of the crypto/blockchain space early in my college career and from middle school and high school.
I enjoy going to reefs and diving/snorkeling/spear fishing, trail-running anywhere with a great view and lots of sun. I am also trying to get more involved with climbing and bouldering.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because of the friends and memories made from backpacking, spontaneous travel and adventuring via Co-op living as an Undergrad.
I also would like to meet more folks from around the world also. No better way to immerse myself in a local community than to stay with a member of the local region etc.
Interests
I love cooking, and love to feed people as a result. Food is the best communicative tool for introductions and provides lots of warmth and good vibes if you can present and share it in a respectful way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked through a small portion of Europe.
Living independently from 10th Grade.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach:
-travel hacking.
- how to prepare East, South, and South East Asian Cuisine, spent ~3.5 years in Japanese and French fine dining. Definitely am more of a fan of the Unorthodox styles of cuisine coming out of Asia or the fusion stemming from Asian chefs.
- Starting small businesses or teaching individuals how to scale their hobbies/passions into passive income or something more significant depending on what your long-term plans are.
I would like to learn more about:
- Flying, Aviation industry in general.
- Guitar, Piano, Music Theory and Music Production.
- Things related to Environmental Sciences, Public Health and Public Policy, I consistently fall into the rabbit hole for these topics and can't get enough of the research or field work that are related to these concentrations.
- Tai Chi and Yoga, have learned about it passively over the years and would like to always improve or learn different styles.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A plethora of experiences and circumstances which could be of benefit to any host or friend I meet along the way in the realm of Personal Finance, Cuisine/Food Recipes or Mental Health advocacy/consulting and life hacks towards reaching financial independency etc.
I try and encourage all my friends and family to inch away from working a 9-5 job and find feasible ways for every person to reach this goal as it is heavily scenario based.
