Hey there! I'm Ira. I'm originally from Ukraine, but have been living in Frankfurt, Germany, for 3 years now.
I find travelling a way to collect ideas and views on things, different from the ones I'm used to see as normal and move another couple of stereotypes out of my head 😄 Getting rid of them can be uncomfortable for me, but eventually feels satisfying.
I like different kinds of art, both doing and seeing, as well as crafts. But I'm also a highly sensitive person, so I'm pretty careful with the amount of input 😄

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had always been kinda scared to do couchsurfing, until I came to Germany and was hosted by two different families that I had never met before. Since then I have travelled to several places using couchsurfing or other apps with the same concept.
I'm not attracted by standard guided tours or just seeing the main sights with no contact to locals when visiting a new country or city. So I find couchsurfing a great opportunity to dive a little bit into people's routine and get their opinions and vibes.
