Hello, 21 years ago parents decided to call me Ira. For all my life I have been living in Ukraine and now I understood that I want to step forward and explore the world around me. I have gorgeous boyfriend Sasha who shares my interest in active lifestyle. We can’t imagine our life without activities and do cycling , skating, camping and etc as much as we can. We love our country and have already investigated almost every Ukrainian citiy, so we want to get acquainted with something new.
I keen on embroidering, cooking, reading, and OMG almost everything what makes me move, think or use my skills.
Sasha is a creative person. He admires music and can play guitar. He has recently created his own musical group `Nation Bloom`, where he plays the guitar, and they have already recorded their first song.
We love our culture and want to share it with you so be sure to buy tickets to Ukraine after our stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to explore world and my place in it. We decided to use couchsurfing, because we think that this way of travelling brings tremendous knowledge about the country, people and gives a great experience. We`re only starting to use this remarkable resource and we are ready to start making friends with it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I`m a music lover, and I listen to all musical genres, which cannot be said about Sasha. He likes rock. And his favorite bands are The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath etc.
movies? Hmm. We haven`t the most favorite genre of film. The choice of it depends on our mood :)
We have a loooot of favorite books and movies:) The last book that impressed me is `The Catcher in the Rye` by J. D. Salinger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to be useful and communicate with people. I was a volunteer for a long time. I really was happy to be a part of this organization, because we did charity work. For example, we visited children`s house and spent time with them, helped the elderly.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsurfing and travelling is a really cool opportunity to acquaint with new traditions and meet interesting people. Also I can open to you a wonderful world of Ukrainian culture and cuisine etc.
Sasha likes all that is connected with music, especially if it concerns to his favorite performers. He doesn`t miss the chance to tell amazing facts, discuss on interesting topics and listen to new incredible stories.
