CURRENT MISSION
Be happy and fulfilled.
ABOUT ME
I'm an open-minded and helpful person, who likes to meet new people and do things you can remember when looking back. I am working as a freelancer based in Berlin after being in consulting and having founded an exited my own little startup. During my travels I want to see things completely different from my daily life and I want to be amazed and surprised.
I love to cook and to eat good and healthy food especially together with other people. So if we meet, I'd be happy to have breakfast/lunch/dinner in a nice bar/bistro/restaurant.
But it might be the best, if you make your own opinion :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I still discovering what CouchSurfing means and what experiences you can make. I am excited about the people I will get to know, both as a surfer as well as a host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started with CouchSurfing during my 3-week-holiday in Panama and it was a big part of what made this trip one of the best I had so far. It was amazing how helpful my hosts were. I had some very interesting conversations with them and their friends.
Tried to eat a raw Cashew nut while being in Santa Fé and nearly burned my mouth because it is not meant to be eaten raw (got kind of rescued by my host and felt pretty embarrassed).
Had a great and delicious weekend in Shanghai where I was shown around by my host Dan whom I met in Beijing afterwards twice. And I got some super warm red Christmas socks for Christmas that just arrived in Beijing (End of January).
Spend 5 days in Tokyo with Hakan. We had pretty long movie nights, cooked lots of beef and had the best coffee in the nicest coffee shop I’ve ever been to. Gonna meet him in Vietnam in February 2014 again.
Without CouchSurfing I would not have met these people what would be a great loss.
I hope I can post more exciting adventures in here soon...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Actually I find myself hard to be amazed which is not a good thing, but well, I can't help it. I've met a lot of people that opened up my mind during travelling and impressed me by their kindness and helpfulness - that is really amazing!
Furthermore I can always be "amazed" by food. I love to try new stuff. During my stay in Laos I tried some insect food for the first time. I think it was a fried silkworm. I was really proud of myself, but I have to admit, it tasted like fried old cardboard which stayed in the basement for years. Anyway I would do it again :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn some words of Spanish or other languages.
I can teach you some German skills (language, efficiency :P), if you are interested or how to cook a spicy curry.
