About Me
Currently out of the country, so not accepting guest for the next few month, sorry.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is the best way to travel, not only because it's cheap but because you get to have a human experience, which is rare when you stay in a hotel, and good tips ! I'm also happy hosting people and advising them!
I used to host people in my flat in the south of France. I couchsurfed once in Berlin for 3 days and hosted my host and a friend of hers at my place afterwards :). Couchsurfing also helped me to get in touch with the city when I volunteered in Tel Aviv. Was perfect each time ! I'm now hosting a few people in the Paris suburb.
One thing I'm definitely, absolutely, NOT interested in, is hook-ups.
Interests
I tend to read a lot and discuss about politic, environment and feminism... I'm quite passionate about the middle east/arab world for having lived years in Egypt and learnt Arabic.
I like sports, going to the gym, swimming, hiking, dancing, yoga... just wish I weren't that lazy ...

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch a lot too much of american & police tv shows and romance stuff. I enjoyed movies like Das Leben den Anderen, A King's Speech ...
I like a lot of different kind of music, especially folk, pop, rock, but also the cheesy kind of music (I'm very ashamed but I have to admit it !). And I enjoy RNB and oriental music to dance.
I unfortunately don't read very often anymore, except for the news. I grew up reading Harry Potter, as a lot of us, and read a number of French classics. Now trying to expand to international literature. Lately I enjoyed "Reading Lolita in Tehran" from Azar Nafisi and now I'm reading "City of love and ashes" from Yusuf Idris.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Egypt was definitely the most amazing/trying exeperience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think it's always nice to share travel experiences, talk about our cultures or cultures we encountered.
I guess my expertise would be in refugee issues and migration. I'm also a self defense trainer and happy to give women tips and tricks to defend themselves.
I wishing I could improve my photography skills, so if you're good at that, we can go on a photo tour :)
I'm also try to diminish my animal product comsumption, and I' d love to learn more recipes, get ideas (but generally I don't have dietary restrictions).
