About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Saving the earth!
ABOUT ME
I'm an 21 year old girl from The Netherlands and I love discovering new stuff, revisiting familiar places and above all to be amazed by everything around me. I was born in the south of Amsterdam and I am currently living on my own in the east of Amsterdam. I work at an arthouse cinema run entirely by students called Kriterion.
PHILOSOPHY
For me, this can best be explained by a quote of Roald Dahl:
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes, the whole world around you. Because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No couchsurfing experience yet, but I would love to start!
Interests
I'm not into sports but rather really into all things creative. I love drawing and painting though I really suck at it, I love to visit expositions and to discover new artists, I love reading and I also write myself.
I enjoy both sitting on the couch with a book and going out to dance all night. I like long discussions and sharing experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classics such as Fitzgerald and Orwell and older classics such as Brontë, but I also love contemporary literature like Zadie Smith and Jonathan Safran Foer. I can completely indulge in a book and stay up all night to finish reading one.
As for music, I don't particularly listen to one specific genre, but my favorite artists are Sufjan Stevens, Paul Simon, Kurt Vile, Tame Impala, Do Make Say Think, Mogwai and JUNIP.
Working in an arthouse cinema allows me to watch an infinite number of movies! My favorites of this past year
