About Me
CURRENT MISSION
get out of the bubble and see the world more often
ABOUT ME
i've often felt like a scientist trapped in the brain of an artist. somehow i've managed to successfully combine the two, and in doing so may have inadvertently become one of the world's experts on wearable technology and cyborg performance. i also work with a somewhat successful fashion collective, making cool gear like PodBelts, Tactical Tutus, and filigree-cut rubberwear. i basically do whatever i can to get by on my creative energy, and i stay young by refusing to grow up.
PHILOSOPHY
above all i am an experimenter and explorer. i'm fascinated with transformation: social, cultural, material, physical, personal. if i'd lived long ago i might've been an alchemist. or a storyteller. i like things not easily defined and categorized. my interests and vocation shifts with the flow of my life, but i'm always deeply passionate, fiercely honest, and ever inquisitive. i believe in doacracy. i am still seeking my own answers and hope never to find them. i will always love clouds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Burning Man, 2001-2009.
Teach, Learn, Share
i've taught a number of college level art classes in 2D & 3D design, photography, video, new media, performance art, etc. i can usually wrap my brain around any techno gadget, and have particular skills in digital media and much knowledge in the field of wearable technology. i love to pick the brains of engineers and computer scientists! and it is always fun to collaborate with other creatives.
