Love foreign cultures and language(s) and sharing experiences. In autumn 2011 I've moved to Italy where I'm a student of masters degree in sociology.

Foreigners often wonder about my name. So, my official first name is Joanna but in Poland all girls named Joanna are called Asia in the informal contacts (unless they dislike it).
'Asia' in Polish has nothing in common with the continent East from Europe, it is actually pronounced more or less like 'a-sha' and the continent we call Azja and pronounce like 'az-ia'.
It Italy it's funny because 'ascia' (pronounced more or less like 'a-sha') means axe. So some Italians don't get why I'm named Joanna but write the name of continent which is read like 'axe'. ;)

April 2012 - hosted a Polish couple in Padua, Italy (my first guests :));

April 2013 - hosted a German cyclist in Padua, Italy (my first foreign guest);
June 2013 - met a Dutch CS-er in Padua, Italy; met a CS-er in Trieste, Italy;
March 2014 - a night in Bologna, Italy;
May 2014 - 2 nights in Trapani, Italy; a night in Palermo, Italy; 3 nights and 2 meetings in Catania, Italy;
November 2014 - a night in Bergamo, Italy together with my friend Ania;
January 2015 - a night in Berlin, Germany;
May 2015 - 2 nights in Milan, Italy;
June 2015 - 3 nights in Turin, Italy;
July 2015 - a meeting in Wrocław, Poland;
September 2015 - a night in Verona, Italy with my friend Ewelina; hosted a CSer from London, UK
May 2016 - a night and some meetings in Palermo, Italy and a few nights in Trapani, Italy with my friend Iwona.

I have also spent different weekends or other holidays with CSers whom I met differently than trough CS, so I didn't count them above. ;)

Music - jazz and classics, but some different kinds are nice as well.
Films - esp. comedies, dramatic, psychological films etc. And I'm starting getting to know the Italian films.
Books - a lot of different kinds of literature. My favourite Polish author is Sławomir Mrożek.

Only one?! Góry Stołowe in Kotlina Kłodzka, Poland - really amazing mountains! And Rome, the capitol of Italy. And Cracow, the former capitol of Poland. And Sicily. And Madrid. And Prato della Valle in Padua. And more, more, moooooore! ;)
