Overview
About Me
I get along with many people and have lived in many ways and places during my life.
I wear many hats -- healer, author, and researcher are some of them. I love nature, learning, lucid dreaming, good food and good people, laughter and dancing.
I'm in good health and I don't smoke.
I'm a good communicator, able to set clear boundaries, and mostly quite happy to be alive.
I love trying new things, new foods, new ways of looking at life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is not new to me! But the site is... over the years many friends have suggested it and I'm finally getting around to checking it out. I see a lot of my facebook friends are on here already.
I sometimes enjoy having the more friendly and casual experience of being welcomed and staying with people in their homes, versus staying in a hotel. I often enjoy getting to know people, having good conversation and learning about other cultures, other ways of seeing and being and doing things.
I've also been known to be perfectly fine with sleeping outside, in my car, or even on a roof somewhere, guerilla style...
If there's something I can do to contribute to your life during my stay, all the better!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like live music best -- I play piano and can play for you if you like. I've also made a lot of electronic music, which you can find online, as Eheka, The Cheshire Dragon, Waxin Wary, Fleck Thrall, and in the duo Crystal Bop. My music has been compared to Aphex Twin, Daniel Savio, and once, R. R. Biggs on cough syrup. I don't even know who R. R. Biggs is...
My favorite movies are usually kind of absurd and/or twisted and dark -- City of Lost Children, The Lost Room (well, that's actually a miniseries, but whatever -- I liked Fringe too, and Carnaval), Paprika, Holy Motors, The Naked Gun series, Groundhog Day... I also love Ponyo and the Miyazaki movies.
As to books, I read a lot of nonfiction. My favorite right now is Ocelocoyotl's (Sergio Magaña's) The Toltec Secret, which is about the art of dreaming lucidly!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one? Haha.. let's see --
I've learned how to transmute suffering through the heart's energy vortex. The suffering is transmuted into presence and peace. This is at the core of my healing work.
How did I learn this? By suffering a lot until something changed radically within me and I had a spiritual awakening, a surrender experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to offer a bit of nutritional coaching / consulting if you like,
and to talk to you about fermentation and the making of ormus, if you're into that. Nutrition and fermentation are things I often teach about when I'm working at The Kiva in Eugene.
I'd like to learn more Spanish (I know a bit) and more Nahuatl (I know very little as of yet), to learn more about how people become lucid in their dreams and remain that way, and to learn more about healing (and entheogenic) plants.
Perhaps we could share a beautiful walk, or jump on a trampoline together?
What I Can Share with Hosts
An open heart, a ready smile, a warm hug, a listening ear... is a good start right?
I am happy to offer some nutritional coaching / consulting if you like,
and to talk to you about fermentation and the making of ormus, if you're into that.
I am happy to cook -- I like to improvise with whatever is at hand.
In some cases I will be able to share energy healing as well, though I can't tell in advance if this will be the case, for there exist many variables which determine this possibility.
I'm hale, so if you need some heavy stuff moved, I can likely do it. I'm also fond of animals and get along well with children.
