Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because i think that it offers a really unique experience. As someone who loves to travel, i think that getting a chance to stay, meet, and interact with someone from the area can totally change an experience and help see a place in an otherwise new light. Also, to state the obvious, making new friends is super fun.

Currently I am traveling from Nebraska to California for a seasonal position with the National Forest Service and am hoping to meet some new people along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

The list goes on and on for music. I think it would be easier to go over the music that i am not into honestly!

For movies, some favorites off the top of my head are; Children of men, District 9, Amadeus, Dances with wolves, vietnam movies as a genre, Tarantino movies (but not all!). Although this list isn't very long I am kind of a movie buff. I've seen many more movies and i love talking about film!

Unfortunately I am not much of a reader but i am trying to change that! I would love some recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was a single father for two beautiful cats raised from kitten age to maturity. But in all seriousness, I am very proud to have graduated college with two degrees in subjects that i truly love and want to continue to learn about.

Teach, Learn, Share

Throught college I was a trip leader and instructor for the outdoor program on campus. This job gave me the chance to travel, learn, and share many outdoor skill that i accumulated along the way. Teaching/sharing is a passion i have and something that i plan on doing in one form or another for the rest of my life.
