About Me

I grew up in Vancouver BC at the foot of the beautiful coastal mountains. I moved to Quebec for High School and to pursue my love for short track speed skating. I skated at a national level for several years until I had a severe head injury and decided that it was best if I moved on in life and find my next adventure.

I then decided to join the Navy; I was in the Navy for 4 years and deployed to South America and sailed up and down the Americas. Following my "retirement" from the navy I decided to go back to school and pursue engineering. I am currently a semi-pro cyclist taking a sabbatical from school and life to see how far I can go with cycling and travel around the world.

I have lived all over Canada and have many fun stories from my time in the Navy I love to share. My friends always say that I always have a smile and am full of happiness. I love being very outgoing with everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to CS and planning a solo trip through Europe and would much rather meet new friends and locals than stay in hotels.
