ABOUT ME

I love to laugh but take life seriously.

I recently finished a Master's degree, and am working towards a second Mater's in counselling psychology.

I love growing food and other plants, music, books, exercise, consensual hugs, and honest, direct, and kind communication.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in honesty, empathy, and justice... and generally, that one without the others isn't enough!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed, traveled with other surfers. I have hosted only once, but look forward to when I have the opportunity to again.

Interests

I like movies, but can't say I'm good with names of actors or directors or whatever.
I spend a lot of time thinking about how to be a better person to those around me.
I love music. These days only listening, but I've played a lot in the past (drums, mostly).
Hearing travel stories from seasoned travelers - man some people have had some crazy experiences! :)

I have had cornea transplants on both of my eyeballs - still got the stiches in there!
