I'm a fun, adventurous 30 year old guy who loves traveling & meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm pretty new to this couchsurfing thing - but basically I love the concept of sharing hospitality - and although I'm traveling at the moment, I can't wait to get home and be able to reciprocate :)

Interests

I try to practise yoga every day, and also love getting outdoors - hiking, sightseeing, etc.

I love a good gym session too - so if you're looking at hosting me & want a training partner - I'm always keen for a workout!

Photography has been my job for the past 8 years or so - and I love the fact I get to help people experience the world through images.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's a bit cliche - but I like pretty much everything - with the exception of Top 50 type pop music, R&B, and Country.

So anything like Alt-J, Chet Faker, Lana Del Ray, Lorde, John Butler Trio, Paper Kites, etc is in my Mellow playlist, while NOFX, Pennywise, Thrice, Strung Out, and Rise Against are in my Punk collection.... and then some Immortal Technique, Aesop Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and Talib Kweli in my Hip Hop collection.

So yeah - basically anything goes :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a teacher in a secondary school for a few years, teaching English, before making the jump full-time into my photography business. That was both the hardest, and most rewarding, thing I've done. Hats off to the teachers - that's one hell of an overworked, underpaid life right there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more Italian ... it's a beautiful language & a stunning country.

I'm keen on WWOOFing too - so any hosts with farms / gardens / etc I'm keen to swap working time for food / accomm etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In our photography business we run workshops teaching other wedding photographers about lighting & "seeing the light" - and it's something I'm passionate about and love to share. So any hosts with an interest in photography, I'd love sharing what I know.
