Travel when I'm not working, having fun when I'm working so that I can travel.

ABOUT ME

I feel I'm a pretty down to earth type of person, trying to enjoy what life brings and what I can bring to it. I love to learn and experience everyone's worldview and especially enjoy being out of my element.

I'm a sound mixer in the film industry here in Austin, doing television, commercial, shorts and features. I used to be a cook and love to eat, whether it's good country cooking, or something I've never seen before.

I'm all about having fun. Getting some drinks, being outdoors, hanging out with friends. If it's fun, I like it.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life so that I enjoy every moment of it. That includes traveling to somewhere new, sitting with a friend at a local bar, or just watching some tv. Everything has something to add to life.

I tend to put myself in other people's shoes, trying to see how they view the world. This means trying what they do, eating what they eat, enjoying life how they enjoy it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to CouchSurfing, at least as a member of the community. I learned about it through many different friends though, who have either hosted, surfed, or done both. The experiences I've heard about and the people that I've met through friends have been wonderful, and am excited to become a member of the community.

Music, Movies, and Books

History books, novels, cookbooks.

All types of music, literally. If you randomly look at my music, you'll find Frank Sinatra and George Clinton next to Metallica and Hank Williams. In between those you'll find some random Disney soundtracks and Indian folk music. Not too big on the recent poppy stuff though.

Don't get me started on films, I like a lot of stuff. Even will watch a romantic comedy.
