I've been living in Manhattan's East Village since 2009, but my family has been in the neighborhood since the early 20th century. I grew up in suburban Boston, and the northeast corner of the United States is the place in the world I know the best and love the most. I'm a stagehand by trade - I run around Broadway hanging lights, building scenery, and handing props to actors - but theater is just the proverbial day job. My true passions lie in organizing for worker justice, and other such struggles for human liberation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had the pleasure of both surfing and hosting during my time in the community. In 2009-10 I surfed all over the US - from Minneapolis to New Orleans, Arcata to Athens - and did a similar thing in Eastern Europe in the winter/spring of 2018, surfing Warsaw, Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Odessa, and Lviv. I host when I can, and had a couple nice stretch of surfers in 2014/15 and 2021.
