About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world... yeah, I know. Original, huh?
ABOUT ME
I'm a musician! Self-proclaimed composer extraordinaire, world traveler, newly bilingual guy who loves music and all things nerdy. Also a foodie.
PHILOSOPHY
Life's what you make of it! We only have a short time on this earth, so you choose what to do with that time. But choose to do SOMETHING with it! Choose to be really good at one thing you know, or dare to try something new and be bad at it for a while. The important thing is that we're capable of awesome things, and there's never a bad time to start doing them!
Interests
Music, composition, writing, computer programming, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, traveling, food, hiking... etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classical music of any kind: Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Berlioz, Brahms, Schumann, Weber, Wagner, Liszt, Mahler, Strauss(!), Debussy and Ravel, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, and Bartok(another !). I'm also a sucker for Reich and Adams. I love jazz, too. Herbie Hancock and Bill Evans are my favorites, but I'll listen to anything as long as it grooves.
I'm a big fan of classic rock. Queen and Creedence are probably my favorites, but I seriously dig Led Zeppelin, GNR, old Metallica, Dio, and Boston. I like some modern metal, too: System of a Down and Tool are my favorites, but Disturbed, Blind Guardian, and Protest the Hero are rad, too.
And I like electronica. Okay, I spend a lot of my time listening to music.
As for movies, I'm kind of a movie buff. If you love a movie, I've probably seen it. If I haven't, then thanks for giving something to watch!
I love reading as well. I'm a Sci-Fi Fantasy guy. I love George R.R. Martin, Terry Brooks, David Eddings, Asimov and Bradbury, as well as the stories of Lovecraft. I'm going through a C.J. Cherryh phase right now.
God that's long. Don't read this, please.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a year in Germany! Most unbelievably amazing experience of my life. Also, I got to see Gustavo Dudamel and the L.A. Philharmonic play Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique. That was pretty rad too.
