Yo! My names Isaac but people call me Woody ;) I love to travel by hitchhiking because you always end up meeting awesome people and going to beautiful places you never would have gone before. I like Couchsurfing for a similar reason. It's a brilliant way to connect with locals and experience their culture, swap stories, ideas and of course delicious recipes.

I used Couchsurfing on a different account with a friend in 2015 for a 3 month backpacking trip around Europe. It was amazing to hang out with people and forge friendships! Check out link below for references :)

I spent 6 months travelling around Central America in 2018. Well I really just traveled for a month and a half through Panama and Costa Rica. I ended up getting stuck (on purpose) on a little volcanic island called Ometepe in Nicaragua. I was a guest at this awesome hostel for two weeks and ended up volunteering there for 4.5 months. It was so hard to leave but unfortunately due to civil unrest tourism crashed to a halt there.

So I'm back in Ireland for a few months planning my next trip to hitchhike from the north of Spain to Morocco and do some volunteering along the way.
