About Me

ABOUT ME

I always feel weird summarizing myself in a few words, so better to just talk to me but here goes: love to laugh, want to experience, learn, enjoy all the good things in life. Just finished my bachelors degree at Amsterdam University College, majored in philosophy and literature (wrote my thesis about philosophy & film). Currently working a day job in a salad bar in Amsterdam and sometimes busk on the Museum Square for some extra pocket money, and slowly working towards my dream of being a writer :) Want to seize every opportunity to adventure. I like getting myself into random situations. I love writing, singing, music, books, art, traveling, long and deep nocturnal conversations, beautiful nature, getting to know people's stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am unfortunately not really capable of hosting, since I live on a student campus and have only a small room and a busy schedule. But I'm always up for meeting people when I'm free!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Paris, Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, Ljubljana, Budapest and Lisbon so far. Amazed everytime :) Met a lot of sweet, fun and interesting people, whom I'd love to meet again someday!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survive a 13 hour long night bus ride from New Delhi to Udaipur with a ... let's say, "Delhi belly", in a 1 meter high sleeping cabin, on a road with enormous holes in it (meaning your entire body is lifted up and smacked down because of the bumps) with air conditioning that smelled like fish (lifelong vegetarian here), through an area in risk of tribal looting - without a toilet or possibility to stop.

Udaipur is really worth visiting though ;)
