ABOUT ME

I am a tall, dark haired stranger with an open mind, endless daydreams and lots of free time. I tend to be extremely sarcastic at times, but I try not to annoy anyone too much. Some parts of me match the stereotype of a Finnish bloke, but it'll be your job to figure them out.

I'm studying in Lahti University of Applied Sciences to become a software engineer and working a little at the same time.

I am currently living in the town with my girlfriend, but I've spent most of my years living in the "countryside". You might get a chance to see and/or experience some not so common traditions and activities, if you happen to visit at an suitable time.

PHILOSOPHY

Be fair, honest and try to live in the moment. Enjoy the little things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by giving a place to stay. I am hoping that in the future the tables turn around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am "pretty new" to couchsurfing, so far I have only hosted. I haven't yet managed to get off my lazy ass and and actually travel the world. I'm hoping the future looks different.

The first time I did what is now a tradition: a two (now three) day canoe/kayak trip in and around Päijänne's waters.
