Hey there! I'm a 3rd year student at Point Loma Nazarene University. I'm studying International Development with a minor in Spanish. This semester I'm studying abroad in Geneva, Switzerland! We're focusing on finance, banking and social responsibility. While I'm here I want to take full advantage of being centrally located in Europe. My goal is to find cheap flights, eat great food, and to gain perspective about different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned, I'm studying abroad in Geneva, which means I'm #BallinOnABudget. I'm dying to get to as many countries as possible, but aside from saving money, I think it's valuable to be immersed in a community by staying with a local through a platform like Couchsurfing. That's a part of the reason why I chose to live with a host family in Geneva instead of staying in a flat with American students!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran the Yosemite Half Marathon with only a weeks notice and no training. Before running it I had only ran 5 miles tops in my life, probably a few years prior. It was a very difficult but surreal experience! Definitely planning to train for my next one (if I ever run another).
