About Me

So... I've already had a resolution about what I want in life, and it is all about people. I want to know, talk to and empower them. I want to meet the world as it is, I want to travel not to stay at five-star hotels and have the most expensive food, but to live like I'm from whatever city I visit and try their local habits. I want to learn languages to make more friends. I want to help people out and bring joy to wherever I go, even if the best thing I can do is to have a conversation with them.
I want to discover and surprise myself by doing things I thought I couldn't, and last but not least I want to show everyone how we can always be a little better than before!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a pretty good way to get to know new people and places, specially for the ones who are willing to travel with less money than it would be recommended to a common tourism trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reggaeton, r & b, pop, indie rock and everything else that makes me want to sing and dance (I looove to).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have already traveled to United States and Canada with my father and as I am the only one who speaks english I had to take care of us while we were there, with only 15 years old.
When I was 18 years old I had the greatest travel adventure, the one to Costa Rica for a volunteering project where I taught basic english to many kids, teenagers and adults in different classes; I lived in a family's house for 6 weeks and ended up learning to speak spanish.
With 19 years old I went to another volunteering, this time in Peru, for an Empowering project with women that lived in a poor community called Villa El Salvador, it was amazing, I did exactly what I went to do and in the end I had results I wasn't expecting to have, the women were so more secure about themselves, happier, and thankful for all the subjects we talked about, for reminding them their importance, and it was only possible because all we did was made from the heart, we put all our effort in trying to show them their value, and I can tell that if I assume to do something, I always do the best I can, and I'm very proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to discover new things, and I think if it's even for us not to like something we may first get to know it and then take our own conclusion about it; I love listening to other people's opinions and stories, everything contributes in building who I want to be, and also love to share what I know about the world we live in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of Brazil, the countries I've visited, my opinions of any subject, my wishes and my cooking habilities (still learning haha)
