Overview
About Me
I’m Isabel! Kind, curious, bright — I drink a lot of coffee and write a lot of words, grappling to absorb this whole world in this one life.
I’m easy to be around and sure to bring some sunshine to your day :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Trying to find a middle ground between work trade and hostel life. Wanting to connect with locals and gain a deeper experience in a foreign place.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a huge reader! I love all sorts of books, from Jon Krakauer to Isabel Allende, really anything written in English I can get my hands on as I roam about.
Music I lean towards folk/indie as well as jazz/soul, though I’m open to anything, love some good pop when you need it :)
I’m not a huge movie watcher, though I used to be, The Shining is my favorite
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There was a time I lived in a barn in a forest in Chile with 50 other travelers, working and learning together to create a community. There I grew into a family of soul searchers, grappling with identity and the universe and all these things while drinking boxed wine next to bonfires and making potatoes three ways for dinner, by the light of a headlamp as there was no electricity. This was a very special experience ~~
Teach, Learn, Share
I spend most of my happy hours ~ cooking, writing, doing yoga, reading, meditating, and thinking/talking deep.
If you have interest in any of these I’ll share with you everything I know!
What I Can Share with Hosts
