ABOUT ME

Hi! I am a Spanish- Venezuelan woman "sort-of raised" in the States currently living in Barcelona, and going to live in the Netherlands.

I love to explore and go on spontaneous adventures! I always bring a book with me, because you never know when you're going to find the perfect spot. I enjoy basking in the present and simple pleasures of life like sitting at a cafe and people watching.

I am a medical anthropology major and a health disparities minor student, with the hopes of being a physician assistant one day :)

I am also a football fanatic, and love to go to the pub on the weekends to watchthe BPL, La Liga, and the Champions league!! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is meant to be lived in the present and to the fullest. I know that this is hard to do often times with how broken our world is. However, by sharing with each other we truly get to experience the beauty of our world to the fullest.

I believe we are meant to live life in relationships, following the example of God who is love and lives in a relationship with us :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot host anyone since I am currently living at my boss's house where I nanny, but I really want to hang out and meet other locals or travelers! I am alone in the city, and would love to meet up with people to explore and hang out with :)

My favourite books stem from Pride and Prejudice to Harry Potter and The Shack! I love fictional/history like Dan Brown novels. My favourite all time novel is The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway.

I love all kinds of movies from a Knight's Tale and 10 Things I Hate About You to Amelie and The Day After the Wedding. I prefer "foreign" movies to the typical Hollywod one.

Music: I normally listen to rock, mostly from England and Spain! I like Negramaro (Italy), Estopa (one of my favourite bands), and Arctic Monkeys. I especially love Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, and Jason Mraz!
