I'm currently enrolled in my MA studies in Zurich. My major is English and my minor is educational science. So hopefully I’ll become a teacher one day ;) Since literature is a big part of my studies, I love to read. But don't ever ask me about an author or my favorite book title since I'm really bad with names ;) Furthermore, I'm in a choir and play the violin in an orchestra. I’m also a runner. Having successfully finished two half marathons in the summer of 2017 and one within two hours in 2018, I’ve also just achieved to participate in a run that went from St. Gallen to Zurich (80km) with my boyfriend (one bike, one runner, switching whenever strength has left your muscles ;-)) Also, I love to spend some time in the gym if time allows. So my daily schedule is filled with all kinds of time consuming activities. I love to travel and I've seen many places. Mostly however, I've visited other countries from a really touristy point of view.

These places are only known to locals. Thus, couchsurfing is an ideal platform to exchange thoughts and ideas about different cultures and reveal hidden knowledge that only locals have access to.

Switzerland is a wonderful country and I am really proud to be Swiss (It has nothing to do with Sweden -> Google it if you don't know the difference ;) So don't ask me about Ikea)- And yes we do have summer months in which the temperature actually rises up to the 30s (90s F) ;)
However I love the winter season and there's nothing that I endear more than snowboarding in the Swiss Alps.

I love to meet new people and I think it's a fun way to meet with locals and to get to know about other cultures.
