Overview
About Me
My name is Maria Isabel Lencastre, I am Portuguese / Brazilian. Me and my boyfriend Tito Ferreira (we have been together since high school), we are looking to meet new cultures, make new friends, have fun and know new places.
I'm from the Portuguese family, but I lived most of my life in Brazil, a country that is my mother's passion, and since her first visit she has not given up. I also love my country, although its defects are wonderful! with all its beauty, its greatest wealth is its joyful and welcoming people! I have two dogs that are the love of my life, they are missing a lot here!
In the last year, in search of knowing a little more about the innovations of civil construction, at the invitation of my university, I came to study the penultimate semester at the University of Porto which I'm already loving!
I am living with my uncles and cousins in the city of Porto, so I can not receive new people, despite wanting a lot!
I want to enjoy this experience not only for professional growth, I think it is a unique opportunity to have different experiences, to know new places, to discover myself, to know new cultures, new people, to grow as a person, as a woman, as a global citizen.
Thank you, see you later!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that different from other means, coushsurfing is a way to not only meet new places, but mainly is a way to connect with new people, exchange experiences, make new friends, take risks, confirm, love.
I believe that everything in life comes down to the moments that we live, and it's the people that connect us that make them special, nothing in life is by chance! Happiness is the consequence of what is in our hearts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The incredible things in life happen when you are not planning, they happen in small acts, in small actions, in smiles in commitment.
I do not want to restrict one thing, I think everything we do is incredible depending on our intentions. But some moments that I miss are volunteering at the Sítio do Cardoso daycare center where I was a part of, volunteer work at a strong house church, the times I gave up on vacations to teach a friend, the victories others won with my help, junior company that together with an incredible group we managed to reerger in 2016, the courage to abandon my routine, my friends, my work, my parents to start a new experience in portugal ...
Teach, Learn, Share
To be incredible is to wake up every day and give the best version of yourself, to be amazing is to look at another and see what he feels.
I am seeking to teach what I can and to open what they teach me, always in search of new things and new ideals.
