About Me

I am a very honest and trustworthy person that enjoys exploring new things. I often travel alone as I think you open up much more compared to when traveling in a group. I do believe in "finding happiness in yourself" and still enjoy spending my time with friendly, warm-hearted people that (in best case) share my sense of humor.

I grew up in Berlin (would call myself a big city girl), decided to go to Australia when finishing school as I deeply wanted to be independent and to explore a different place far away from home. Last year I began studying in Western Germany.

I do volunteer-work for Borussia Dortmund (German soccer team) which means I am in the stadium at every home match. I used to play Golf and Squash back home and just started playing tennis at university what i really enjoy. During my time in Australia I had fun going fishing every now and then. I also learned a bit of surfing, in general I enjoy outdoor sports/ activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting locals who really know the place I'm visiting and can give me some non-tourist advice. Please show me your favourite place in the city and tell me about that little cafe that sells the best cookies in town! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am hearing lots of different music genres but all in all deep house is my favourite (I feel endless love for Flume, Disclosure and Hans Zimmer).

Best movie still is "The Intouchables".

I enjoy reading biographies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with a beautiful turtle in the Great Barrier Reef.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn how to play the drums. Sadly, I can't play any instrument but I do admire everyone that does.

I can teach you how to understand German humor and to cook the best tacos de pollo I know (chicken tacos from my Mexican friend).
