Overview
About Me
Hello!! I'm Isabel, I just finished a year teaching in Daejeon, Korea and now I'm backpacking around Japan for a few months. I grew up in California, then moved to Paris for 2 years and New York for 2 years during school. I went to New York University, I have a BA in Contemporary Culture and Creative Production. I'm an artist, illustration mostly, but I also create claymation stopmotion films. I really like meeting new people and I think of myself as a very respectful guest. I love surfing, food, walking, writing, conversation, and laughing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I genuinely love meeting different people, I think exchanging ideas is extremely important for growth, adventure, and developing kindness. I would love to experience a city from a local's perspective and in turn help them any way I can, while respecting boundaries. I'm an energetic person who sincerely loves to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too subjective!!
Teach, Learn, Share
The cyclic nature of existence is sometimes difficult to remember, but when sincere communication happens, it's at once dizzying and life affirming. I have an open mind.
