ABOUT ME

I'm a theatre artist and an avid traveler looking for interesting sites and experiences. I grew up abroad in Beijing, China and I love seeing new cultures and new places, and going off the beaten track to do so, really talking and meeting people of the places where I go and feel apart of a something larger than what's written up in a guidebook.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a student living in on-campus housing I'm in a difficult place to host anyone right now, but I know a network of people in different places and would be happy to try to help set people up with other hosts for the time being.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed across Eastern Europe - Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania - had a great time and met wonderful people.

Interests

I love photography, mostly architectural or landscape, I love theatre and I'm currently at school for the performing arts in New York City. I love philosophy, even thought it often blows my mind, and the conversations I find the most interesting with new people are those that really challenge my ideas of what I know. I enjoy seeing architecture and art and I love local music scenes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone horse trekking through rural Gansu staying with local Tibetan families, I've stayed in yak-tents at the foot of Mount Everest, I've studied theatre in Dublin, I've seen the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, I've gone scuba-diving in the Philippines and snorkeling off the Great Barrier Reef =)
