Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
seeing new things and learning about people with lots of different backgrounds
ABOUT ME
I'm the kind of person who, when confronted by a rainstorm, runs out into it. I love adventures, and I love getting to know new people, especially over a good meal or a glass of wine.
I love to laugh, and to read, and to learn about people. Everyone's had an interesting life, everyone's struggling and making it work and doing their best, and everyone wants to make connections to other people; it's human nature, right?
I haven't traveled enough; I decided in the fourth grade that I was going to leave my hometown and see the world, and, after four years in college in New York City, I'm going to finally live up to the second part of that decision.

sitting in the backseat of 14-person van full of people whizzing through the mountains in oaxaca with no rail on the road so it felt like we were clinging to the side of the mountain,
seeing the effects of strip mining on mountains in kentucky; the whole tops of mountains just gone, all to feed the coal industry
