Hi,
My name is Isabela Perea and I am a second year college student living abroad in Valencia, Spain right now. I was originally born in Mexico so I have grown up speaking Spanish and spent my summers in Mexico growing up. I moved to the United States and have been living in Massachusetts since I was 4. I am currently studying to be a bilingual speech pathologist and Spanish at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

I have grown up with a heavy influence of traveling and seeing other cultures. I feel like that has really driven my desire to travel and meet people who are similar and different to myself. Traveling and seeing the reality of the world has already shaped my career and what I want to do with my life, so I can just imagine how much more it will effect me in a positive way. In my spare time I enjoy being outside as much as possible and exploring what I have yet to see. I like to bike and workout as well as reading and listening to a lot of music. I love hanging out with my friends and having a good time with people.

The best experiences I have had from traveling have been when I am with locals and seeing it through a local perspective. I love meeting new people and exchanging our stories. I want to go down the road less taken and experience as many new experiences as I can.
