About Me

I grew up by the sea in the North East of England, and then lived in Bristol, UK, where I studied philosophy, politics, and human geography, while living in a camper van and working as a support worker.

I am mainly passionate about politics, specifically activism and people living life in alternative ways :)
i also love music of many varieties.

I'm a wannabe freelance journalist.

Now I'm travelling basically indefinitely, to experience more of the world and learn about different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - dub, dubstep, techno, and i appreciate weird noise DIY punk electro folk drone trap hip-hop triphop footwork metal anything, and Destiny's Child

Movies, hard to remember, but many. Jim Jarmucsh and Abbas kiarostami are two long term favourite directors. The Battle of Algiers was an excellent film I saw recently.

The unbearable lightness of being, and Narcopolis are two books I read this year that I loved.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year it felt amazing to be able to hitchhike over 1000km to visit my friend for their birthday, in 2.25 days. I managed to hitch a school bus on the last crazy morning, after walking through a lightening storm the night before without being rained on. It was weird.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm curious about most things. Whatever people have to offer.

I can help people learn English if they want.

What I Can Share with Hosts
