Hey there! My names Issy (a silly nickname I gave myself at the age of 5) and I’m a Brazilian/American with a passion for traveling and meeting new people!

I’ve lived in Miami, São Paulo, and Paris and live in New York City (for now..) and always love seeing new places, experiencing new adventures, and more importantly - making new friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but always want to get an authentic and personable experience. Couchsurfing allows me to view other cities through the eyes of those who live there and that is amazing!

Cooking and dancing are what relax me but I also love standing up for what I believe in and volunteering in the community. I enjoy learning more about history, art, and culture and have a knack for picking up new languages!
