Overview
About Me
I'm currently backpacking around south east Asia on a mission to experience new things! I grew up on a farm which has fuelled my passion for the outdoors and adventures. In 2023 I graduated with a BSc Honours in Earth Science and just didn’t feel ready to get stuck into the working world, so I left South Africa, went to India in March, completed my 200hr YTT and I’ve been backpacking since.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think this is a wonderful way to meet new people, and experience areas through the eyes of a local and not a tourist. Being a foreigner it’s very easy to get caught up in the popular, overpriced, inauthentic tourist spots and that’s not why I’m travelling. I’d like to find those secret wonders and I believe that majority are found by spending time with the people who live there.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can easily assist with teaching english or swimming! My goal for these next few months is to do as much rock climbing and hiking as possible! I’d love to share my life story with others in order to hear theirs too. I feel like everyone has so much to learn from each other!
