Overview
About Me
I'm currently living in Prague but you can rarely find me there. And this is the reason why I can’t accept guests at the moment.
I have a background in political science but I work a boring 9to5 corporate job, which is good enough that I can often do it remotely and pays a decent amount of money to keep the traveling going.
I’ve been playing volleyball since I was 8 so it’s a big part of my identity. In general, sport is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cause I believe in people and the importance of sharing.
I hosted few people and have been hosted multiple times. Each experience was positive and valuable.
Interests
I wish I could work traveling one day. I like reading, binge watching, have fun with friends. I love sports and I am a big supporter of the soccer team of my city, AS Roma.
I am a Larper (live action role play). If you’re not familiar with it, it's like a grown-up, sophisticated version of "let's pretend". Or, if you prefer, it's like being on a movie set with no script, where you’re the protagonist, and the outcome is determined by the choices and actions of the players. It’s 8 years now that I became a player and I would say it’s the second thing I enjoy most in life, after travelling. In a sense, role playing it’s a travel, a travel through time and through space, because you can live an incredible amount of lives and adventures that you’re not allowed to in real life. So far, I was the Mother of Dragons, a 15th century servant, a fairy-tale flying pirate, refugee of a near-future Italian civil war, a CEO of a Soviet multinational company and many more roles I can tell you about.

Music, Movies, and Books
Usually I like autobiographies, biographies, political essays and history books. I love history.
My favorite movie is the trilogy of "Back to the future", and in general I love fantasy movies. Why? It is also connected with my passion for history. I am fascinated by the intersection of present, past and future and how small details can be fundamental in one's life. Also, it really fascinates me to see how people's life get intersected with the big history of human being, History with the capital H.
I like any type of music, from rock, metal, Arab pop, Bollywood. You can find from Bollywood dance songs to Taylor Swift to Mashrou Leila to Noah Kahan to Avril Lavigne to Alestorm in my playlist. Each song speaks to a different part of me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, I am Italian, would it be too obvious to say that I can cook? Honestly, I’m not even as good as an Italian should be, but I manage. Except for that, I can share amazing Larper stories, some stories of my trips and a good, sincere conversation about politics (always up for that). Also, on the materialistic perspective, I live in Prague, therefore I can bring a beer or two from here :)
