Overview
About Me
I am an open-minded, communicative German girl. I love meeting new people and I am always curious about other people's experiences with travelling. The more extraordinary, the better! My recent travel highlights are my Erasmus in the North of Sweden last year and one month workaway in South Africa. It is always so interesting and enlightening to get to know different cultures and I can't wait to discover even more of them!
My second big love apart from traveling is music. I listen to it whenever I can and I like to discover new bands and artists. Often I stand still at one of these street musicians and I get completely lost in their performances. I also had piano and singing lessons for several years and I deeply miss it.
Besides, I also love to move. I go running and to the gym regularly, but I enjoy outdoor activities even more such as climbing, hiking and horseback riding.
In the last months, I developped more interest in meditation and buddhism and also in the protection of the environment.
I grew up and went to high school in Germany, before moving to the Netherlands to study Psychology. In my third year, I decided to go spend my semester abroad in Sweden. Right now, I have just finished my bachelors and will start my masters this september in Groningen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest, the main reason is that I couldn't find a room in Groningen yet and I am desperately looking for a place to stay. But I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet people and exchange experiences! I am very thankful to everyone that will offer their couch to me :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Wherever I go, I am really keen on trying local food.
And I like to share my travel experiences, music and philosophical opinions and a good laughter (you will see, I am famous for it;)).
What I Can Share with Hosts
The same as above I guess? I also want to contribute to the groceries and to a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
