About Me

Hello there,
I'm Isabella, I'm half croatian and half italian,I live in the countryside near the city of Siena in Tuscany and after taking a gap year to work and travel in New Zealand and Sri Lanka, I came back to Italy to study at the University of Florence.
I'm currently studying Economical Development, Social-sanitary and International Cooperation and Management of Conflicts.
I'm against any form of oppression and discrimination, I'm passionate about animals and the environment, I'm vegan and, needless to say, I love traveling, besides getting in touch with different cultures and experiencing alternative/sustainable lifestyles. I really love cooking for people and learning about plant based medicine. Some more things I love : compassion, kindness, generosity, openness, adventure, the ocean, engage in discussions that cover wide range of topics, learn from others, fresh fruits, black tea, smells that remind of moments in life...
I believe I'm really open and friendly and always enjoy making new friends ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up on Counchsurfing as I love the idea of an hospitality exchange network and I believe it will make it easier for a traveler to fully experience the culture of the place they're visiting. I believe in the importance of sharing and to establish relationships that are not influenced or regulated by money. Back in New Zealand I got a lot of help from people who hosted me without even knowing each other and ended up establishing a beautiful and long lasting friendship with them. I can say my most beautiful friendships are spread across the world and couchsurfing surely is a great way to meet some interesting genuine people ;)
