CURRENT MISSION
Observe and learn from life
ABOUT ME
If a future version of me came to visit when I was 18 and told me where I would be in 5 years, I would not believe her. My philosophy changed quite a bit since college, and i'm happy to be where I am today. I believe it is important to experience life outside your normal routine. It will always be there when you decide to come back from exploring. I'm still the same person though- outgoing, social, truthful, kind, and understanding. I moved quite a bit when I was younger. I've lived in Israel for 6 years and moved back to the States when I was 13. Since then, I've appreciated other cultures and wanted to learn more. That's one reason why I joined Peace Corps in 2012. I also love traveling and meeting interesting people along the way. I'm open minded and easy going to any new opportunities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a lone worker, in a foreign country, I understand and respect those who are traveling alone. I would like to meet up with individuals, groups, couples, etc. that are either living or visiting the city, to exchange stories and explore the surrounding areas in Phnom Penh.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met many wonderful, eclectic, interesting individuals and couples when I hosted in China. It's great to hear stories and also to share your own to those who are genuinely interested in your own adventures. You connect with strangers on a personal level, even for a short amount of time, and it just makes you more humane.
