About Me

I'm 22 years old, study Chemistry and English for a teaching degree in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. I'm open minded, love to meet new people and get to know different cultures. During lecture period I'm pretty busy with attending classes, doing sports and spending time with my friends, but once the semester's over I try to be outside as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the best way to travel, since you meet people, who know the city, region and culture the best. There's no travel guide, which gets even close to what a real person can teach you.

Interests

I love all kinds of sports (especially sports played in a team). I've played handball ever since I was a kid and am still just as excited about it. I also love to go rock climbing and slacklining, when it's warm enough. I enjoy going to concerts.

Music, Movies, and Books

If i would have to pick one artist I'd choose Jack Johnson. Other than that I enjoy lots of different styles of music.
"Shutter Island", "Lost in Translation", "Into the Wild" and "Notting Hill" (im just a girl after all ;) ).
"1984", "Harry Potter" and "The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept at the "beach" of the Sea of Galilee without tent and sleeping back. It was freezing cold but I've never seen a more beautiful night.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking and baking, so I can (if you're interested) show you how to prepare some traditional German dishes, like Schnitzel with Spaetzle or I can teach you how to bake your own bread.
Since I'm in charge of a summer camp once every year, I know a lot of riddles and stories and some small magic tricks.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Laos, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
