About Me
Hi, I’m French and British. I grew up in Antibes in the south of France and moved to London in my twenties. I now live in the countryside in England, in Derbyshire at the edge of the Peak district.
I love spending time with my friends, walking in the hills around my home, learning Italian with my Italian coffee group (we chat in Italian while having coffee :), dancing salsa and bachata, playing tennis, skiing, doing Taichi, reiki, foraging, travelling and discovering new places and people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing in 2017. My kids were young at the time, time passed and I forgot about it and never used it. I've got more freedom now and I love the idea of traveling while staying at and meeting friendly locals. I can’t think of a better way to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Creating and organising a lantern procession in my village 13 years ago (lanterns made out of willow and tissue paper). Now the lantern making workshop and the lantern procession happen every year in November and the kids and their families love it. I moved to another village nearby and I don’t run it anymore but I still go and help and I marvel every year at how magical it looks and how happy a moment it is for everyone.
