I just learned about Couchsurfing, how have I not heard of it until now?!
I haven't done a lot of traveling in recent years, but that will soon change! I have been to 31 states, all east of Texas. I am all about frugal travel. I recently went to New England with a friend, and we covered 9 states in 5 days. We spent the first 3 nights in the car, and the last night in a hotel. Talk about a whirlwind adventure!
I would love to go to Europe soon, primarily Germany and the Netherlands, where a large part of my mom's ancestry stems from (her maiden name is of Dutch origin; my 3rd Great Grandfather brought over an Amazing pretzel recipe from Germany, and a distant cousin currently operates the bakery).
I can be goofy, witty, and sarcastic; a chatter box, or quiet. I enjoy getting out with my camera when I can. I love to cook and bake. I enjoy disconnecting from technology and the city noise by going for hikes on the weekends, and occasionally during the week when time permits. I don't usually like to sit still for too long, so Ohio winters aren't my best friend.

I like just about all kinds of music, it usually depends on my mood.
Movies: Anything made in the 80s, with Tom Hanks, or Julia Roberts. I'm a little behind when it comes to the newer movies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My pretty decent cooking skills. Perhaps something 'native' to my home state or town (Buckeyes, Mike-Sell's Potato Chips, etc).
