I'm Isabelle, 25 years old. I play handball professionally, in Oldenburg.
I've lived in France and Germany and I'm from Holland. French is a language I'd really like to learn to speak fluently.

I play the piano and I love to read. I have a small dog (Shiba Inu - Doge!) in my apartment, who keeps me company wherever I live.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I just joined couchsurfing, cause I've heard of good experiences from friends. I'd love to give travellers a comfortable place to sleep and for myself I'd love to explore the city 'from inside' instead of from the tourist guide on google.
I think there are so many more things to see in a city when an insider shows me around.

Please don't judge me on my no-friends-no-references part. I am just starting and because of my sports obligations I don't have time to travel a lot and make my references list bigger ;)!

兴趣

Books: Biggest Harry Potter fan ever - not sorry.
Cooking: I'm not the best cook but I just try so many things and see whats works, haha.
Shopping: well, I'm a girl so yes of course.
Talking: A good glass of wine with a great conversation, that's the best.
Sports: Since i'm a handball player I really love sports. When I'm on vacation or on a trip I always try to sport a little too, cause I just feel it's the best for me and my body. Nothing special, just running is satisfying too.

音乐、电影和书籍

Well books you could already read, but I also read Baldacci, chicklits (Jill Mansell, Sophie Kinsella), Karin Slaughter etc. I like it all, just not the scary things.

Series: Well, thankgod for Netflix. Homeland, Suits, Modern Family, Bones, The bridge, Orange is the New Black, The Good Wife, Friends .. I really don't know where to begin or where to stop.

Biggest shows I've never watched (and according to my friends the biggest disappointments of me: Game of Thrones & The Walking Dead)

Can't name on amazing thing. I find it amazing when I'm with my best friends in my hometown, I find it amazing when I score a great goal in an important match, I find it amazing when I'm in a new city learning new things.. I think our whole life is amazing! (Even thoug that sounds a little blabla)
