About Me
**Unfortunately, I have to put this disclaimer up here because some people think this is a dating site: I am only interested in strictly platonic hosting. I AM NOT interested in anything other than that. So if you're looking for a hook-up, try someone on Tindr.**
Hey guys! If there are two things I can say for myself, it's that I am very outgoing and that I'm an idea person. I'm very observant and entrepreneurial. I love finding a need and coming up with ways to fulfill that need, in everything from social structure and politics, to business and personal. I love an interesting conversation above all else.
My second passion is food. I'm adventurous and spontaneous and I love to try new things. I love finding the best markets and street foods in every city I go to. I'm also a pretty good cook too.
I call Philly home and am its biggest fan. It's a hidden gem with endless possibilities. If you like to eat/drink and you find yourself in Philly, let me know. I have a longgg list of recommendations that I can send to you. Philly is absolutely a foodie city (one of the best and most underrated in the US). I'm very passionate about sharing the best of my city's offerings with visitors.
When I'm not eating or traveling, I do business development & marketing for a software start-up. I dabble in real estate investment and restaurant consulting on the side as well. I have an ever-growing love of music and am unapologetically developing a crazy cat lady complex.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mainly, I am so passionate about Philly, I love to share this city with anyone who finds it.
Also, I couch-surfed on a whim several years ago in Ireland. My host was memorable, hospitable, and an all-around beacon of humanity. I'd like someone to say that about me one day.
I'm looking forward to meeting new people with a variety of ideas and perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books
My current playlist features Frank Turner, Hozier, Jamie N Commons, The Devil Makes Three, Nina Simone, Alana Henderson, Arctic Monkeys and Catfish & The Bottlemen. I love rock -- primarily jazz/blues/alternative. However, I'll listen to almost anything, including opera, rap, and house.
I'm not much for film but I like movies with historical reference.
I mostly read business books with a sociological/psychological base like Outliers, Lean In, Contagious, and Predictably Irrational.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ah jeez...it's close: traveled 20 countries solo, and survived a start-up. Both were equally intense, teaching experiences.
