Writing an introduction about yourself is difficult, especially if you want so sound like an outstanding individual. I am however just a normal person so here it goes. All or nothing!

My name is Isabelle Meakin and I am 20 years old, born in the beginning of good ol' 1997. I come from the land of "fika" (meaning: to eat cake, drink coffee and hang out). Evenstill, I do not like coffee, but I am a sucker for sweets and cake.
... And the land of "lagom" (mening: not too much whilst at the same time not too little). A great word, just like "fika". If you never heard of these words, you are welcome, they only exist in swedish. So as you understand now, *drums* I am from Sweden.

However there is more to me than "just" cakes and indesicivness. I am a bit like other folk from Sweden, shy to new people. Although, you need not worry, it is just in the beginning so before you know it we will be sharing a delicious chockolate cake with a lagom amount of whipped cream/ice-cream (it can be hard to decide which).

The reason I travel differs not much from why as everyone else wants to do it. I want meet new people, see new interesting things, learn new things and experience other cultures. As to learn about others aswell as my self. The thing about travelling is that it can be difficult to do these things as you usually tend to just end up in a hostel full with other travellers seeking exactly the same thing. These are all very interesting in themselves but sometimes you want to get the real thing and that is why couchsurfing sounds so great!

When I finish my travels in South America I will go on to study law in university back home in Sweden.

I realise this might or might not have given you a better idea of who I am and what I am like. I guess you will just have to trust me when I say that I am a nice person and I look forward to meet you in person.
