Hi! My name is Isabelle :) I am currently in Germany, starting my Masters degree in the winter semester of the year 2019. Before coming to Germany to study, I lived in South Africa and studied at a university there. I am looking forward to travelling in Germany and Europe, and meeting lots of interesting people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am hoping to do lots of traveling in Europe, seeing interesting new places and meeting new people. I think Couchsurfing gives you a different kind of opportunity to get to know other people, as opposed to staying at a hostel or hotel. I like to get to know different cultures, eat new food and return kindness with gratuity.

Interests

I love languages and therefore study linguistics. I am always interested in learning new languages and talking about interesting language phenomena, as well as the cultures and societies in which languages embed themselves.
