Hi, I'm Izzy, 23 years old from Germany and a midwife student.

I am a climber and as such, love to be outside and discover the world. I play the piano and love music in every possible way. And my friends and family are the most important things, even if they are at the other end of the world.

And I'm German! Not always the best thing, but that's who I am. I have my insurances and like my heated house. And I stopped trying to be less German. What for? It's funny for you so hey!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I love meeting people from everywhere around the world. The only thing I don't like about traveling too much is hostels. There are amazing ones and I did meet great people in hostels. But I don't like when they are too big, too many people, too anonymous. When the only reason people are staying there is to travel as cheap as possible and to party harder as ever. Don't get me wrong, I love partying. But when I'm traveling I wanna see the country, the landscape and get an idea of the people and culture. Pub crawls are always the same and the kind of people who go in hostels as well, no matter in which country you are.
That's why I'm on couchsurfing.
I wanna meet people who live where I travel. I wanna get to know who they are, what they do in their lifes, what I can learn of them and what I can teach them, wanna see the good and bad things about countries and not their beaches and clubs.
On the other hand I don't wanna be around people all the time, wanna be able to have some hours to myself and not hundreds of snoring people around me. So yeah, I guess that's why I'm here.
