I'm studying Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Alternative Energies and Design. My minor is in philosophy. Hoping I can somehow save us from world destruction (caused by us). I was studying at NMU in Michigan, USA, but am currently looking at universities abroad to finish my education.

I've been vegetarian for about 4 years. My choice to be vegetarian was originally based on animal abuse buuut since then health and environmental reasons have been added.

Some different adjectives that have been used to describe me: sassy, sarcastic, goofy, bubbly, a little awkward, intimidating, friendly, complicated, etc etc
In other words, I'm a walking paradox.

I am a poor college student (thanks USA) trying to travel the world and I can't think of a better way to make international connections and learn about different lifestyles and cultures than staying with a local.

Interessi

Yoga, painting, drawing, knitting, embroidery, alternative medicine (particularly Ayurveda), green buildings/technology, hiking, camping, climbing mountains, eating great food, learning about different religions, being barefoot and pants-less, swimming/chilling in the water

I taught English in Salvador, Brazil for a month and am also a native English speaker so I can help those who want to improve their English/learn English.
I've been practicing yoga for probably 4 years now, I can't do anything outrageously cool yet.. (Like scorpion pose) but it's something I can share/teach.
I make all my own personal beauty products, home cleaners, etc etc out of all-natural, environmentally-friendly ingredients. I can share my recipes:)
I am always excited to learn new languages, learn about new cultures, learn new skills and hang out with people from all across the globe. If you have any talent or skill you'd like to share... like juggling, surfing, whatever, please do!!
